I love technology, and I love design. I believe great design is for everyone. I live to learn, be inspired, and to create. I believe in a methodical approach that values simplicity and precision.

BRANDING & IDENTITY
I am a motion designer with a background in filmmaking and a passion for all things tech.

I’ve worked on projects ranging from Kickstarter campaign videos and animations introducing global brands like Six Nations to developing visual identities and designing visuals for big events like Channel 4’s Paralympics launch.

If you’d like to learn more about what makes me, me, keep scrolling.

I’m passionate about motion design, but there are many, many more things that interest me.

Doing > Thinking > Not Doing.

I have so many hobbies that I had to write them up on a wall in order not to forget about some of them.

I always try to be open to learning new things, no matter the subject. This sometimes leads to me struggling to stick to one personal project or passion.
Organise everything.
Must stay organised. I believe it is the best way to fight the unpredictability of life.

I apply this to both the digital and physical worlds.
One technology I find particularly exciting is VR. This year, you’ll see me experimenting in this space a lot. It’s great to be a part of this new industry at a time when we all get a chance to shape it.
I apply this to both the digital and physical worlds.
Keyboard shortcuts exist for a reason.
Use them.
I love keyboard shortcuts. I want using my computer to be as quick as thinking. Obviously, there’s a limit to how quickly you can do things on the computer, but luckily, there’s also a limit to the speed of my thinking, so it’s fine.
In fact, this website has keyboard shortcuts. Try pressing M.
My other computer is £45.
Last year, I also really got into microelectronics. I bought a Raspberry Pi, and that has sparked a very deep interest in this field.

I also visited their store in Cambridge.

Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer that can do many things. I use it to automate just about anything in my home.
Everyone should code.
I’ve been continually trying to learn Python for the past few years. My proudest project, which I definitely, totally, 100% finished, is a bot that books cinema tickets for me.

BFI hosts popular events like director talks and actor Q&As that sell out quickly. My bot secures the best seats in about 4 seconds.
3D printers are the new hammers.
They aren’t toys; they are tools. Tools you can use to organise your life, fix things, and even creatively express yourself.

I use mine all the time. Sometimes I get inspired by an exhibition or a film, and as a result, I want to create something. But animation isn’t always the right tool. So I use my 3D printer to bring my idea to life.

Like this bookend, for example. It’s rather magical.

Every artist needs a setup.

When an idea strikes, you need a setup to make that idea into reality.
